Comfortable, large beds:

Queen and King size beds are available in each room at The Special Delivery to provide comfortable space for the mother and support persons during labor and birth. Each bed is equipped with adjustable functions to lower and raise both the head and foot of the bed. 

Birth Tubs:

All three birth rooms at The Special Delivery are installed with in-room tubs used for hydrotherapy to provide comfort and help relieve pain during labor. These spacious tubs are also designed for waterbirth and allows room for partners to enter and support the mother during labor and delivery. 

Controlled Lighting:

Don’t worry about being in the “spotlight” with bright lights. Each room has adjustable lighting to set the tone as you feel. 

“Homey” Atmosphere:

We designed each room at The Special Delivery differently to make everybody feel “at home”, depending on each individual's preferences. We hope you feel comfortable and safe to birth in the Farmhouse, Modern or River room. 

No Beeping Monitors:

As midwives, we believe in free mobility for the mother during labor, which means no wires or monitors strapped to your belly. Your midwives will monitor your baby’s heartbeat intermittently using a handheld, waterproof Doppler which is proven to have the same safety outcomes as continuous monitoring.
